Upcoming Chamber Ribbon Cutting: HartFelt & Associates Realtors, City of Brownsville Welcome Center

The Edmonson County Chamber of Commerce has announced an upcoming ribbon cutting for two local openings.

In a statement released by the Chamber, they said Jackie Snelling and Phillip Coleman, Realtors, are bridging the gap from buying and selling real estate from out of their homes to opening Brownsville’s only real estate office.

The grand opening will take place on Tuesday, 6 October @ 1:00 PM at 100 Washington Street, Brownsville, KY. Jackie and Phillip started HartFelt & Associates a couple of months ago to manage property at or near Nolin Lake. Soon after they opened the business, they realized that their hands were tied as the Kentucky Real Estate Commission requires a real estate license to fully use property management. Two months later, they both acquired a real estate license and aligned with Coldwell Broker, Legacy Group in Bowling Green.

"Their business vision includes property management, mainly in Edmonson County, buying and selling property, and setting up and managing short term rentals such as Vacation Rental By Owner or Airbnb," said the Chamber.

In addition to the real estate office, there will be a City of Brownsville and Edmonson County “Welcome Center”.

"We would like to let tourists and potential residents of Edmonson county get to know and love the area," the Chamber stated. "Carol Coleman has populated a Kentucky Room with artifacts of the Nolin Lake area as well as other Edmonson County points of interest. There also is artwork from local artists proudly displayed. Our desire is to provide a warm, welcoming, atmosphere that is indicative of what our great community is all about."
   
There will be a ribbon cutting celebration followed by a cake and punch reception. Everyone is welcome.
