Young Adult Career Planning Event

Get Your #SWAG on with @StartWithAGoal : Young Adult Career Event (Ages 18 to 24)

The Kentucky Career Center and Monster are teaming up to present a career planning event for young adults in the BRADD 10 county area (Allen, Barren, Butler, Edmonson, Hart, Logan, Metcalfe, Monroe, Simpson, Warren). The motivational, action packed event will be held on July 23rd at the WKU Knicely Center. Registration will begin at 9:30 with the event from 10 to 2. High energy Monster.com presenters Yvonne Williams and Ron Sullivan will be speaking about financial wealth, interviewing and resume writing, conflict in the workplace and more.

Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about local job openings, tuition assistance programs, internships, and other career planning services. A pizza buffet will be provided at no cost to pre-registered attendees and there will be mileage reimbursement assistance for those who travel from the Barren River counties.

All attendees will be eligible to receive door prizes including a MAXWEST Tablet and much more.
