Five different Lady Cats were recognized for their accomplishments in the 2015 season for 12th District play.

Edmonson County girls' basketball coach Ted Hill has resigned, per AD Kyle Pierce.

Hill finished with a record of 44-45 over three seasons, leading the Lady Cats to three District 12 runner-up finishes.

Pierce said Coach Hill helped improve the girls program these past three seasons. "Coach Hill brought an up-tempo approach that really fit this group of girls well. He was not afraid to schedule anybody. He worked hard during the season and provided many opportunities for our girls to play in the summer. Coach Hill also helped in many other sports here at ECHS, from football to softball. He became a good friend and I'm glad he came our way and helped make ECHS Athletics better."

Pierce says the hunt for a new girls basketball coach has already started. "There have been several inquiries about the position both inside and outside the district," Pierce said. "We will gather the applications, screen them, and make the best choice we can for our girls program."​
