photos by Madison Doyle and Alyssa Doyle: There were many great moments as the Wildcats celebrated their 2017 District 12 Championship. Check out the slideshow of some of our favorites below: Darren Doyle, story: Madison Doyle, Alyssa Doyle, photos: The drought of no district championship titles in 24 years for ECHS is finally over as the Edmonson County Wildcats defeated the Butler County Bears 81-64 in Morgantown tonight for the 2017 Championship Title. The Wildcats executed their pregame plan nearly to perfection as their stellar defense, hustle, will, and determination made the victory possible. Daniel Caudill hit a three pointer to start the game and the Wildcats never trailed again. "I think we played four quarters about as best as any we've ever played," said Assistant Coach Bart Weaver. Edmonson County out rebounded the Bears 36-22, shot 63% from the field, compared to Butler's 43%, and won the free throw battle as well. They were only one point away from having all five starters in double figures. Coach Mike McClintic said the team had a great practice on Thursday and he felt the guys were relaxed enough to enjoy the moment, but serious enough to take care of business. "The guys were really up, really loose," said Coach Mac. "Monday was different. It was very tight and very quiet. But yesterday, it was back to the old Edmonson County Wildcats." Whatever the 'old Edmonson County Wildcats' are, Cat fans hope that it's the bunch that hangs around. While a united team effort was key, Bailey Board led the offense with 22 points and 10 rebounds. He was 8/12 from the field and 6/7 from the FT line. Daniel Caudill had 15 points, Caleb Skaggs had 13 points, 4 rebounds, and 6 assists. Iszic Blankenship had 12 points and 10 rebounds and Tucker Cole had 9 points. Both J.T. Vincent and Logan Lindsey provided quality minutes off the bench as Vincent put in 6 and Lindsey added 4. The Wildcats found success in a 1-1-3 zone, which only works if all 5 guys stay very active, with the two top defenders running in almost an "x" motion back and forth around the perimeter. It's very physically demanding and not commonly used. "We hadn't played this defense before, but we had been working on it," said Weaver. "It helped us cover shooters better and Butler hadn't seen it. It bothered them a lot and I think our defense did win this game." He also talked about the joy of cutting down the nets after the game. "It's awesome. I've talked to so many ex-players we've had over the last 10 years and it's all for them, too. It's for you (DD), it's for anybody that's ever played here. It's remarkable that we're celebrating this tonight with some that we didn't get to do this with. You know, our kids did a good job tonight. They listened to us, they had to improvise a little bit, but they just did a great job." It's the first time since 1993 that Edmonson County has won a district title. The Wildcats were escorted out of Butler County by the Voicemobile and received a police escort when they reached the county line. Lights, sirens, and horns were loud and bright as the Wildcats were greeted by crowds of people waiting on the square as the Edmonson County Pep Band played while the bus took a lap around the courthouse square.
Edmonson County is now 19-10 on the season and will draw on Saturday for their match in the first round of the Region 3 Tournament, scheduled for next week in Owensboro. Edmonson Voice Sports, Alyssa Doyle, photos: Although the Lady Cats fell just short of a district championship, three Edmonson County players were honored with individual awards after Thursday night's game. Junior Abby Alexander was named to the District 12 All-Academic Team. She currently holds a 3.91 GPA and was featured as this week's WildcatsLive Student Athlete of the Week. Both Caitlin Simon and Peyton Martin were named to the District 12 All-Season Team. Simon and Martin were also named to the District 12 All-Tournament Team.
The WildcatsLive crew and EdmonsonVoice.com staff salute these young ladies and the entire Lady Cat team for representing Edmonson County well all season long. Darren Doyle, story: Madison Doyle, photos: With a ten point lead and some great momentum, the Lady Cats were just where they wanted to be at halftime against the Grayson County Lady Cougars at tonight's District 12 Championship game, but the lead soon disappeared in the third quarter as Grayson County took control. Grayson County outscored the Lady Cats 19-7 in the third and forced turnovers against Edmonson County as they clogged up lanes, double and triple-teaming Lady Cats. The shots went cold for EC in third as they connected on only 3 of 11 field goals. "Defensively, we had them off balance in the first half," said head coach Kevin Jackson. "We never let them get comfortable in running their offense. That was the key in the first half. We hit some big shots there in the second quarter and everything looks better when you're making shots." Edmonson County started off solid, leading 10-8 after one and they extended their lead to 24-14 at the half, outscoring the Lady Cougars 14-6 in the second quarter. "We talked at halftime about how Grayson wasn't just going to roll over and give it to us," said Jackson. "We knew they would come at us with pressure and they did. I thought we did okay against their full-court pressure, but not the half-court. I didn't do a very job coaching and the kids didn't respond well in the third, but I think it's about learning how to win in big game situations. Grayson has been there for 13 years. We're trying to figure out a way to do it, but tonight we didn't really play all 32 minutes of the game." The Lady Cats' struggles continued in the fourth as Grayson outscored them 19-10, for a lop-sided total of 38-17 in the second half. The Lady Cougars went on to win 52-41 and grab their 13th consecutive district title. Caitlin Simon was the leading scorer for Edmonson County with 14 points while Peyton Martin added 12 points, 8 rebounds, and 4 assists. The remaining box score was: Lewis 5, Collins 5, Cline 3, Ballance 2. Although district runner-up is not what the Lady Cats were shooting for, advancing to the district finals still guarantees them a place in the upcoming Region 3 Tournament next week.
"I still think there are six to eight teams that can win the Regional Tournament, and we're one of them," said Jackson. "We're not going to feel sorry for ourselves. We'll go up to Owensboro to practice at the Sportscenter on Saturday, take the kids out to eat, get some positive vibes going again and find out if we play Monday or Tuesday night." The Lady Cats fall to 23-8 on the season. Stay connected to EdmonsonVoice.com to find out more about the Lady Cats draw in the Region 3 tournament. WildcatsLive will carry all the games live right here. Darren Doyle, story: Madison Doyle, photos: The Wildcats powered through a rough first half and came together as they figured out a way to win over the scrappy and resilient Trinity Raiders 63-51 to advance to the District 12 finals on Friday night. The Raiders came out strong with a 10-2 lead in the first quarter as they muscled their way in the paint, getting easy buckets from offensive rebounds. The Wildcats seemed a little rattled as they were pushed around from the physical play of Trinity but they clawed their way back to cut their deficit to 12-10 going into the second. Both teams traded baskets during the second quarter and the score was tied 26-26 at halftime. "It was pretty simple," said Assistant Coach Bart Weaver. "We just told them that it's time to step up. At halftime, we had a pretty good speech or two," he said laughing. "But this is the district tournament. We're not going to get those little easy fouls. We said when you go up for a layup, go up like a man, and I thought we did a much better job in the second half being stronger around the basket." The third quarter was where the Wildcats' game plan of being aggressive to the basket, rebounding, and taking care of the ball began to let them see some results. They took a 44-40 lead going into the final quarter. Senior leadership was key once again in the fourth quarter as big baskets from Bailey Board and Caleb Skaggs along with the strength and athleticism of Daniel Caudill began to take the wind out of Trinity's sails. Skaggs converted on two three-point plays and a big three pointer during the run that spelled doom for the Raiders, none bigger than a layup and foul with 1:56 left. His free throw gave the Cats a 58-51 lead and they were able to hit their foul shots down the stretch to go on for the win, ending Trinity's season while advancing to the district finals and the Region 3 Tournament. "Caleb hit some big shots and Bailey had a couple of nice drives," said Weaver. "I don't know what Daniel's stat line is, but Daniel was a man tonight and that bleeds over to your teammates, so that was big how he stepped up and played really physical." The Wildcats also succeeded in a team effort once again with four players in double figures. Skaggs led the way with 21 points, Bailey Board had 16, Daniel Caudill had 12, and Iszic Blankenship had 10 points and 9 rebounds. The win gives Edmonson County a chance to bring home the first district championship title for the Wildcats since 1993. Coach Weaver said it's time to end the 24 year drought.
"We're in the finals and that's what it's all about." Also helping in the effort was Tucker Cole and Brayden Carey with two points each. The Wildcats are now 18-10 on the season. The Wildcats are scheduled to take on Butler County in Friday night's finals, who defeated Grayson County last night. Tipoff is scheduled for 7pm at Butler County High School. The WildcatsLive pregame show will start around 6:50pm, only on EdmonsonVoice.com. Darren Doyle, story: Madison Doyle, photos: If there was ever a "how-to guide" written about what it takes to win a basketball game, last night's match between the Lady Cats and Butler County could easily serve as it's only reference. Edmonson County defeated the Lady Bears on their home court in the first round of the District 12 Tournament last night 66-38 where they held the advantage in rebounding, assists, turnovers, shooting percentage, and overall execution. The Lady Cats shot a ridiculous 70% from the field, 87% from the three point line, and 87% from the free throw line. Edmonson County's focus to start the game was dead on as they jumped out to a 23-9 first quarter lead. They had amassed a 42-17 lead at halftime, which was led by Peyton Martin's 18 point first half effort. She had one more point by herself than all of Butler County at the half. Martin finished with 23 points and 4 assists while hitting all of her foul shots, all of her three pointers, and only missed two from the field all night long. "It may have been the best half of basketball I've ever been associated with," said Head Coach Kevin Jackson. "Gosh, you have to give the kids all the credit in the world. They came to play and we talked about it. We only have one senior and we talked about prolonging the season so Maddie (Cline) can play another week, and by-George they sure did it." Caitlin Simon finished with 20 points and 4 rebounds. She hit 10 of 10 from the free throw line. The remaining box score was Collins 8, Lewis 6, Cline 3, Alexander 2, Ballance 2, Vincent 2.
The Lady Cats will take on Grayson County Thursday night at 7pm for the district championship at Butler County High School. The girls have not won the title since 1998, also under Kevin Jackson. Jackson spoke of what it will take to defeat the Lady Cougars. "We've got to find a way to make some baskets early. We went cold at their place (in an earlier loss) shooting the basketball. If we shoot it half as good as we did tonight, it ought to be a dandy on Thursday night," he said. Last night's win also set a milestone for Edmonson County Lady Cat Basketball. The team set a new school record for the most amount of wins during a season with 23, as they improved to 23-7 on the season. The Wildcats are scheduled to take on Trinity at 6pm in tonight's first round matchup of boys' action. The WildcatsLive crew will have the pregame show of the live action starting around 5:50pm. It's also "E Jacket Night." All current and former ECHS alumni with E Jackets are asked to wear them, no matter how old or what style, in support of the Wildcats. Darren Doyle, story and photo:
Edmonson County High School has announced that Edmonson County Lady Cat Head Coach Kevin Jackson has been named the Kentucky Association of Basketball Coaches Region 3 Girls' Coach of the Year. Jackson came back to Lady Cat basketball before the start of the 2015-16 season after leading them to district titles in 1994, 1995, and 1998. He has compiled a record of 40-20 since returning to Edmonson County. Jackson first arrived in Edmonson County in 1989 where he was the boys' freshmen and JV coach and varsity assistant. He took over duties of head coach for the girls in 1992 and stayed there for 11 seasons. He also served as head coach for Lady Cat softball from 2003-2010. "I'm glad to be respected by the other coaches in the third region," said Jackson. "This award is shared with a great staff and a super bunch of ladies. We try to run a first-class program and it takes everyone doing their part." Coach Jackson will be presented the award in a ceremony TBD during the KHSAA Sweet Sixteen state basketball tournament in late March. The Lady Cats are scheduled to take on Grayson County in the district finals this Thursday night at Butler County High School at 7pm. Darren Doyle, story: Madison Doyle, photos: The Wildcats saw a double-digit lead vanish into thin air in the second half against Logan County last night at ECHS on Senior Night, but Edmonson County seniors found a way to overcome a four-point deficit in the final two minutes to finish the last regular season game with a 70-68 win. It would be the final game for five Edmonson County seniors: Bailey Board, Iszic Blankenship, Daniel Caudill, Caleb Skaggs, and Peyton Talley, in the gym at Edmonson County High School, as they celebrated Senior Night festivities after the Lady Cat victory over Greenwood. Leading 35-25 at halftime against the Cougars, the Wildcats were rattled early in the third quarter as Logan County came out on a 10-0 run that seemed to have Edmonson County on the ropes. Logan County tied the game at 50 all as the fourth quarter began and the quarter continued with each team trading jabs at the other when the Cougars took the lead at 57-54 on back-to-back threes by Logan County's Ethan Smock. It was their first lead since it was 3-2 in the first quarter. That's when seniors Bailey Board and Iszic Blankenship became more aggressive on the offensive end. The two combined for 19 of the Wildcats' 20 points in the fourth quarter. With 59 seconds left in game, trailing by two, Blankenship nailed a 10ft jump shot in traffic with a foul to tie the score at 66-66. He hit the free throw on the converted three-point play to give the Wildcats their first lead since it was 54-51. Edmonson County never lost the lead again and the game was iced when Bailey Board calmly hit two free throws with 9 seconds on the clock to extend the Cats' lead to 70-66. Logan County scored another bucket, but it wasn't enough as the Wildcats held on for the 70-68 win. Assistant Coach Bart Weaver joked on how Edmonson County games never seem to be easy. "No, we just try to keep everybody excited, I guess," he said with a laugh. "We just like to keep the fans biting their fingernails." Weaver said the emotions of senior night are always a concern but he said they were focused on a team effort which led to a season-high 21 assists for the team, and extra passes led to high percentage shots. The Wildcats shot 65% from the floor. Senior Daniel Caudill re-injured a tender ankle in the second half and had to be helped off the court. He did not return to the game. It appears to be only a strain at this point and Caudill has received treatment around the clock; however, his status for Tuesday's game is unknown at this time. Bailey Board put up 23 points, 8 rebounds, and 4 assists, while Iszic Blankenship added 21 points, 5 rebounds, and 4 assists. Senior Caleb Skaggs was the other Wildcat in double figures with 13 points, 5 rebounds, and 8 assists.
The Wildcat coaching staff says that team effort is the key ingredient to winning the first district championship since 1993. Weaver said this was a huge momentum boost for the Cats as they try to bring the trophy back to EC from the tournament that begins on Tuesday in Morgantown. "We've just pounded it. Team," said Weaver. "If we really want to make a run for this championship in the district, we can't get away from this. With the snap of a finger it can get away from you if you're not playing together and for each other. We've just pounded it in their heads. It's worked well and they've responded well with it." The remaining box score was Vincent 6, Cole 4, Caudill 2, and L. Lindsey 1. Edmonson County is now 17-10 on the season. The Wildcats are scheduled to take on Trinity in the first round of the District 12 Tournament at 6pm on Tuesday, February 21 at Butler County High School. Darren Doyle, story: Madison Doyle, photos: A school record for wins in a single season was tied last night at ECHS as the Lady Cats defeated Greenwood 66-56 on the last regular game of the season. Edmonson County also celebrated 2017 Senior Night, which was an emotional night for senior Maddie Cline as well as the rest of the team. The win allowed the Lady Cats to improve to 22-7 on the year, the number of regular season wins only done twice before, in 1994 and '95, both of which the Lady Cats brought home the district championships under coach Kevin Jackson. The Lady Cats led the entire game and held a 28-21 advantage at halftime; however, Greenwood refused to go quietly and cut the lead to two with a big run during the third as they found open lanes to the basket. Edmonson County was able to withstand the run by the Lady Gators and held on for the win, which was a momentum booster for the Lady Cats as they prepare for the District 12 Tournament that is scheduled to begin on Monday in Morgantown. "Any time you only have one senior, it's very, very tough and I'm so proud of Maddie Cline," said Coach Jackson. "There's times she got frustrated and I know how that feels. But she hung with us and I thought she played really well under the circumstances and emotions. What I was most proud of is that our kids wanted to get the win tonight for Maddie. Moreso than tying the school record of 22 wins; we didn't even talk about that. They wanted to get the win for our lone senior, and that tells you what kind of kids we've got." Peyton Martin led the offense for the Lady Cats with 25 points, 7 rebounds, and 4 assists. Caitlin Simon added 19 points, 5 rebounds, and 4 assists.
Katlin Collins put up 9 points, Skylar Lewis had 8, Maddie Cline added 3, and Lauren Ballance had 2. The Lady Cats are scheduled to take on Butler County in the second game of the first round of the District 12 Tournament on Monday, February 20, 2017 at 7:30 at Butler County High School. The winner will advance to the finals on Thursday and also the Region 3 Tournament. The losing team will see it's season come to an end. The Lady Cats' last district championship was in 1998, also under Coach Kevin Jackson. You can listen to the district championship live on WildcatsLive, right here on EdmonsonVoice.com with the pregame show starting around 7:20pm. View from Wildcat Alley: District Basketball Tournament Time, Daniel Caudill, and Matthew O'Bryan2/17/2017 The 2017 12th District Basketball Tournament, hosted by Butler County High School, is scheduled to begin next week and Edmonson County fans are hoping that both the Wildcats and Lady Cats bring home the championship trophy.
The last time the boys brought home the district title was 1993 and for the girls, it was 1998. The Lady Cats are scheduled to take on Butler County Monday night at 7:30pm while the Wildcats are slated for a game against Trinity on Tuesday, Feb 21 at 6pm. The winners of the first round will automatically advance to the Region 3 Tournament. The girls' finals are scheduled for Thursday, Feb 23 at 7pm while the boys match is scheduled for Friday, Feb 24. Darren Doyle, story: Madison Doyle, photos: Hot shooting from senior Caleb Skaggs sparked a big 21-4 Wildcat second quarter that propelled Edmonson County past McLean County 68-35 last night on the road. Skaggs connected on four consecutive three-pointers for 12 of his team-high 20 points in the big win. "He was hot, and it sparked us big time," said assistant coach Bart Weaver. "But another key there was when we put Logan Lindsey in the game and he was active. I think those three pointers Caleb hit were off assists from Logan. Of course Caleb knocked those down but I thought they both did a good job and it opened it up for us." The Wildcats had gathered a 34-12 lead at the break and never looked back as they cruised to the 33 point victory. Another great team effort from Edmonson County saw several Cats putting points on the board and contributing in several areas. Tucker Cole and Bailey Board were the other two players in double figures with 12 and 10, respectively. Board also added 9 rebounds in addition to Cole's 5. Iszic Blankenship had 9 points and grabbed a game-high 14 rebounds. Edmonson County swiped 40 rebounds as team, which is a team-high for the season. Also contributing was Logan Lindsey with 7 points, J.T. Vincent had 4, Brayden Carey had 2, and Ryan Lindsey added 2. The Wildcats are now 16-10 on the season and are scheduled to take on Logan County on Friday night immediately following the girls' game against Greenwood for senior night. Logan County has a 7-18 record on the year and has put up similar numbers against some of the same teams that the Wildcats have faced over the season.
You can listen to both games on WildcatsLive only on EdmonsonVoice.com. Darren Doyle, story: Madison Doyle photos: A solid team effort helped the Lady Cats overcome McLean County 54-40 last night on the road which was also backed by a 25 point performance by point guard Peyton Martin. Although Coach Kevin Jackson saw things as a bit sloppy at times, he agreed that his team still responded well to the long bus ride to McLean County and combatted the focus that the Lady Cougars had on their senior night. "Their kids were really focused in pregame and I really worried how we'd respond, and I thought we did respond, but again, it looked like we'd been out of sync," Jackson said. "With school being out for three or four days, I think it affected us a little bit. We were going to take off tomorrow, but I said we're going to practice and get this thing back to where it was two or three weeks ago and we're going to be ready going into district tournament. I don't want any excuses or any reason for someone to say we're not doing everything we possibly can." Edmonson County started off with a 16-11 lead and a big second quarter allowed them to take a 33-18 lead into the locker room at the half. The Lady Cats had some defensive and rebounding break downs at times, but McLean struggled to knock down shots and the EC was able to convert on the offensive end. In addition to Martin's 26 points, she added 5 rebounds and 6 assists while hitting all 7 of her free throws. Caitlin Simon had 9 points and 6 rebounds, Skylar Lewis added 8 points, Katlin Collins had 8 points, and Maddie Cline and Lauren Ballance added 2 points each.
The Lady Cats are scheduled to host Greenwood Friday night at ECHS for the last regular season game of the year which will be senior night. While that is always an emotional night for teams, Jackson is focused on next week's district tournament that is scheduled to begin on Monday night against Butler County at 7:30pm in Morgantown. "You can win 21 ballgames and get beat in the district tournament and people think you've had a terrible year," said Jackson. "I want these kids to experience what they did last year: winning in the district tournament and playing in the regional tournament. I still feel like we're one of the 6 or 7 teams in the region that's got a shot to win it all, but in order to win it all you have to win the first game of the district. It's the most pressure-packed game of the season." The Lady Cats are now 21-7 on the year. It makes only the fourth team in school history to achieve 20 or more wins in a single season. Senior night vs. Greenwood tip off is scheduled for 6pm. You can listen to the live broadcast on WildcatsLive, only on EdmonsonVoice.com. Edmonson County Schools will be closed on Friday 2/9, Monday 2/13, and Tues 2/14/17. As a result, the following changes to the athletic schedule have been made:
Senior Night Rescheduled Tonight was originally the date for 2017 senior night for winter sports in a girl/boy doubleheader at ECHS vs. Ohio County, but that was postponed in a decision made yesterday, due to Ohio County already being out of session for illness. Athletic Director Kyle Pierce announced today that senior night has been rescheduled for Friday, February 17, with the girls taking on Greenwood at home beginning at 6pm, and the boys will take on Logan County immediately after senior night festivities, which will follow the Lady Cats game. The Friday, 2/17 game was originally supposed to be a doubleheader at Greenwood, but a coordinated effort between Logan and Edmonson County schools have once again made senior night at ECHS possible. Hancock County Classic This Saturday Boys' head coach Mike McClintic has also announced that the location for this Saturday's Hancock County Classic has been changed from the Owensboro Sports Center to Hancock County High School. The boys will play two games on Saturday with the first one scheduled against Bethlehem at 12:30pm. If the boys win, they will advance to the championship round, scheduled for 5:30pm. A loss will put them in the consolation round which is set for 4pm. Edmonson Voice Sports Staff According to a Tweet from ECHS Athletic Director Kyle Pierce, the Thursday, February 9 girl/boy games against Ohio County have been cancelled due to the flu outbreak, which has caused Ohio County to recently dismiss school. Senior night festivities were also planned on the same night. Those plans have been postponed indefinitely. It is the last scheduled home game for the 2016-17 basketball season. Rescheduling senior night at home will require either a reschedule of the Ohio County game or the addition of another game, which is not common practice at this point in the season. The boys have four regular season games remaining on the schedule while the girls have three. We'll update this situation as details become available. Darren Doyle, story: Madison Doyle, photos: The Wildcats dropped their first district game of the season last night as they fell to Grayson County 53-46 on the road. The loss will have no effect on seeding of the upcoming District 12 tournament, as Edmonson County secured the top spot on Monday with a win over Trinity. Edmonson County had a sluggish start, falling behind 12-4. They had fallen behind 23-14 at the half, but a big third quarter cut the Grayson County lead to 35-31. Turnovers and missed opportunities plagued the Cats throughout the game and a strong 4th quarter by the Cougars secured their win. Iszic Blankenship had a solid performance with 15 points and 11 rebounds while Bailey Board added 14 points and 5 rebounds.
The remaining box score was: Caudill 7, Skaggs 6, Cole 2, Lindsey 2. The Wildcats are now 14-8 on the season. They are scheduled to take on Breckinridge County at home on Monday in a JV/V match beginning at 5:30pm. There will be no live broadcast so all fans are encouraged to attend. The final home game of the season is scheduled for Thursday, February 9 against Ohio County. Darren Doyle, story: Madison Doyle, photos: The Lady Cats fell to Grayson County last night in Leitchfield 44-32 in spite of a blistering start that had the Lady Cougars on their heels. Edmonson County jumped out to a 12-2 lead, connecting on four 3-pointers in the first quarter. Grayson County managed to put a few more points on the board as the Lady Cats stayed in control 14-7 going into the second quarter. Things changed quickly for Edmonson County as hot hands began to cool down and Grayson began to take advantage. The Lady Cougars fought back and had cut the EC lead to 20-18 at halftime. Grayson took the lead in the third quarter and never looked back as they held on for the 44-32 win. Offensively, the Lady Cats were led by Caitlin Simon who had 16 points, 6 rebounds, and 5 assists. Only two other Lady Cats scored as Peyton Martin scored 12 points and grabbed 5 rebounds, and Skylar Lewis had 4 points and 4 rebounds.
The Lady Cats drop to 18-7 on the season but still sit atop the Region Three rankings. The top seed in the District 12 tournament will now come down to a coin toss, which will pair the Lady Cats with either Trinity or Butler County in the first round. Edmonson County has defeated both teams multiple times throughout the season with a 28 point average margin of victory. An announcement from ECHS Athletic Director Kyle Pierce said that the girl/boy doubleheader scheduled for Friday night at 6pm has been moved to 5:30pm in order to accommodate Grayson County festivities that have been rescheduled for that night.
Grayson County will also hold their basketball homecoming that night along with some hall-of-fame activities and the school has decided to move the start time forward. WildcatsLive will begin the pregame show around 5:20pm. |
