Edmonson County fell to Hancock County on Friday, 67-64, despite Chase Turley's team-leading 13 points. Hancock County secured their lead in the third quarter on a two-pointer from Kane Logsdon. The Wildcats scored early in the game, claiming a 36-29 lead at the half, but it wouldn't be enough as Hancock pushed forward. ECHS showed confidence while finishing strong, adding 20 points in the final quarter, but it wasn't enough overcome their opponent. The Cats put forth an aggressive effort, accumulating 22 fouls over the course of the game. Putting up seven points, Turley saw his best shooting game in the second period, and Devin Elmore put two three-pointers on the board, scoring 12 points total. Three other players also scored in the double figures for Edmonson County: Austin Sowders and Dakota Woodcock both added 12 points each, and Hunter Buttram finished with 7 points, 10 rebounds, and 1 block.
