ECHS Athletic Hall of Fame Honors 31 Inductees Plus Entire '76 State Championship Team

The ECHS Athletic Hall of Fame Inaugural Induction took place last night during halftime of the boys' game against Todd County Central. Those inducted now have a plaque hanging up on the "Wall of Fame" at ECHS, with a list of all their accomplishments.

Those inducted included the entire 1976 KHSAA Boys' Basketball State Champion Wildcats, those who were already part of the "Wall of Fame," located in the ECHS gym, as well as others.

The full list of inductees in addition to the '76 team include: Larry Starnes, Tracy Meredith, Johnny Pete Vincent, Edd Rich, Stephanie Dennison, Lauren Caudill, Pete Clemmons, Dale "Doc" Gray, Charles Alexander, Gerald Meredith, Wes Vincent, Steven Caudill, Keith Madison, Mike Rich, Willie Denham, Neal Booker, Dave Denton, Kevin Jackson, Norm Weaver, Rick Wood, Don Burton, Gary Key, Aaron Goad, Phil Rich, Tom Vincent, Brian Browning, Kevin Clemmons, Brett Meredith, Bo Davenport, Joseph Blanton, and KayDon Vanmeter.

The 1976 Championship team was honored as one inductee, even though multiple members are also being honored individually for sports besides basketball.

A reception was held in the inductees' honor, which was sponsored by Rafferty's.
