 Freshman Cariann Williams finished first (11th) for the ECHS girls team while Brandon Lindsey was top finisher (8th) for the boys. The ECHS Girls team finished 3rd overall, beating Bowling Green by 3 points. Cariann Williams finished 11th and earned a top place finisher medal. Boys were without 3 of their top 3 runners Saturday, placing 12th. Brandon Shane Lindsey finished 7th overall, also earning a medal. In the middle schools boys race, Aidan Meredith (5th) and Eli Prunty (18) also received medals in their division. "Very proud of our kids' effort today, said Head Coach Brad Meredith. "Their dedication and hard work is starting to show in races. For us to come to Gatorland and compete with some of the biggest schools and other great programs around shows how much effort these kids are putting in. We were the only 1A school in the varsity races."
