Edmonson County High School will once again host the Caveland Classic tournament this year. ECHS Athletic Director Kyle Pierce is looking for a big turnout in Brownsville.
"We are excited to be hosting the Rafferty's/Double Dogs Caveland Classic once again," Pierce said. "This year's tournament should be one of the most competitive girls tournaments in the state of Kentucky." The 8-team, 3-Day tournament begins on Monday, December 28th. Game times each day are:2:00, 3:45, 5:30, and 7:15. Admission for the entire day of games is $8. A tournament pass may be purchased for $20. ECHS Season Ticket Holders will get in free with their card. Pierce noted that the tournament isn't possible without the help of Rafferty's and Double Dogs restaurants and Edmonson County's very own Scott Lindsey. "Scott has been a true friend to our community and our athletics department. This allows our girls and our fans to stay at home during the Christmas Break and have an extra three home games during the year. If you see Scott, make sure you thank him for his support." Pierce also encouraged Lady Cat fans to go visit Rafferty's and Double Dogs restaurants when you visit Bowling Green. "We want a big crowd for the entire tournament, so please make plans to attend and cheer on our Lady Cats."
