ECHS Will Host 2019 District 12 Basketball Tournament

Edmonson County High School will host the District 12 Tournament, which begins tonight with the Edmonson County Lady Cats taking on the Butler County Lady Bears at 6pm. 

Grayson County will take on Trinity in game two, which will follow tonight's game one, approximately at 7:45pm.

Girls action will resume on Thursday night with the both winners of tonight's games going head-to-head for the girls' championship at 7pm.

The boys' teams are set to begin on Tuesday night with Grayson County taking on Trinity at 6pm and Edmonson County taking on Butler County at 7:45pm. The winners of those games will advance to the boys' championship, which is scheduled for Friday, February 22nd at 7pm. 

You can listen to live Edmonson County action only on the Edmonson Voice both Monday and Tuesday. We will also carry the live audio of the championship games should either or both Edmonson County teams advance. 

The Lady Cats take a 10-game winning streak into tonight's game. A win will guarantee them not only a chance for a District Title repeat, but also a regional tournament spot. A loss tonight will end their season. The boys must also win tomorrow night in order to advance to the district finals as well as the region tournament.
