Football: Senior Night VS Hart Co On Friday

The Edmonson County Wildcat football team returns to the field after an open week. This week will be an important district match up against Hart County, as well as Senior Night for 9 Wildcat football players. Drew Decker, Marcus Kinser, Nathan Ryan, Brent Foley, John Finch, Dakota Carner, Austin Lemieux-Gravil, Ethan Basham, and Brandon Kinsey will all play their last home football game this Friday night.

Head football coach Kyle Pierce says that this group of seniors needs a great sendoff. “Anytime you play your last home game, you want to walk off the field knowing you have done your absolute best, and winning sure helps that feeling. Most of these guys are 4-year players in high school, they played middle school and little league football, so these guys have sacrificed nearly their entire lives playing this game. I hope we have a great crowd to support our seniors and our football team in a big district game.”

Senior night festivities will begin around 6:30. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:00.
