Freshmen Lady Cats Win Back-To-Back Regional Titles

ECHS FRESHMEN LADY CATS ARE BACK TO BACK REGIONAL CHAMPIONS

After winning their first regional championship in the Green River Valley Conference regional tournament last year (2013-2014) as 8th graders, the ECHS Lady Cat Freshmen basketball team captured their second regional title.

On February 10, 2015 the ECHS Lady Cat Basketball Freshmen team won the freshmen district tournament. In the first round the Lady Cats defeated Butler County 42-21 and then moved on to defeat Grayson County 38-19 to claim the district championship.

On February 14, 2015 the Lady Cats defeated Muhlenberg County in the regional championship 53-38. Scoring for the championship game includes: Peyton Martin (18 pts), Caitlin Simon (10 pts.), Katlin Collins (8pts), Hannah Meredith (8 pts.), Skylar Lewis (7 pts), and Lauren Ballance (2 pts).

ECHS Athletics
