Senior Lady Cat Golfer Kayla Meredith will compete in the All A State Tournament tomorrow for the second year in a row. She finished 23rd out of 99 golfers last year and hopes to have an even better finish tomorrow. "It's my senior year and I just want to finish well," said Kayla. "Hopefully the course conditions will good tomorrow and everything will turn out alright." Members of the coaching staff said Kayla is driving the ball much further than last year and her putting has also improved. "My strategies are a little different and I'm also able to do a few more trick shots," Kayla added. The match will be played at Woodson Bend Resort, a par 75 course, in Bronston, KY tomorrow with a total of 93 golfers vying for the state title. Reports are that course conditions are in good shape today with even better conditions expected for tomorrow. "They're pretty similar greens to the ones I've dealt with back home, so there's not really that much a difference." Kayla is only the second Lady Cat golfer to compete in a state level competition in school history. A strong finish could qualify Kayla for bigger tournaments to be held later. Good luck to Kayla as she competes tomorrow.
