Lady Cat Volleyball Starts New Streak With Win Over Glasgow

A new winning streak has begun with the 2017 Lady Cat volleyball team as they now sit at 8-2, winning their last six contests with Thursday night's win over Glasgow in two sets at ECHS. 

Seniors led the way once again with too much offense for Glasgow to handle.

Edmonson County took the first set 25-13, forcing Glasgow into timeouts early on. The Lady Cats took control of the second set as well, topping the Lady Scotties 25-13 and the game 2-0.

The JV squad also picked up a nice win in two sets as freshman Emma Woodcock faked a set with the score 20-19, sending the ball over the net unexpectedly for the final point and the win.

The Lady Cats have had three games this week, all wins, including a district win against Grayson County on Tuesday night in Leitchfield.

They are scheduled to take on Hart County on the road on Monday, in a JV/V/F matchup beginning at 5pm.
