Lady Cats Bounce Back From Heartbreaker With Win

The Lady Cats made a road trip to Russell County on Saturday to take on the Metcalfe County Hornets in the Lake Cumberland Hardwood Classic.  The Lady Cats were looking to take out some frustration on somebody after the heart breaking buzzer beater lost Friday night.  Two Lady Cats scored 20 + points and solid team play helped ECHS to defeat Metcalfe County 66 – 54.

Rachael Duncan led the Lady Cats with 21 points, 2 assists, 3 rebounds, and 1 steal while Brandi Lindsey had 20 points, 7 assists, 1 rebound, and 7 steals. Caitlin Simon added 10 points, 3 assists, 4 rebounds, and 2 steals.

The Lady Cats travel to Breckinridge County tomorrow night. JV tip off is scheduled for 6pm.
