Lady Cats Fall To Madisonville

The Lady Cats fell victim to Madisonville-North Hopkins tonight as they lost 55-58 on day two of the Raffery's/Double Dog Caveland Classic at ECHS.

The Lady Cats were led by Senior guard Brandi Lindsey with 19 points, and 7 assists. Freshman Caitlin Simon also played well, adding 12 points and 4 assists. ECHS went into the locker room at halftime tied up with Madisonville 27-27 on Simon's bucket at the buzzer, but couldn't come out with the win.

Also adding to the cause was Peyton Martin (3 pts, 2 rebounds) Jhonna Basil (4 pts) Cierra Whitman with 3 pts, Tori Browning with 5 pts, and Rachael Duncan with three-3 pointers, finishing with 9 points.

The Lady Cats will take on a very tough Simon Kenton team tomorrow morning at 9am in the final day of the classic.
