Wildcat Senior Preston Dunn Named To All Region Team

Wildcat senior baseball standout Preston Dunn was named to the 2019 All Region 3 team earlier this week, the first Wildcat to be named to the team since former player Rye Davis, who was named to the team in 2007.

The left-handed senior finished the 2019 season with a .480 batting average, .514 OBP, .735 SLG, 4 home runs, and 30 RBIs. As a pitcher he went 56 innings with 74 strikeouts, and boasting a 1.50 ERA. He finished with 6 wins and 2 saves for the Wildcats.

In addition to all-region honors, he was also named to the Region 3 All-Star team, the All A Tournament team, All District Seasonal Team, and All District Tournament team.

Preston is the son of Nick and Shanna Dunn of Chalybeate.
