Austin Sowders helped lead ECHS to victory over Butler County Friday night with 13 points as they won 64-54. The Wildcats went into the locker room leading 33-29 at halftime with the help of a 10-0 run, the eventual difference in the game. In addition to Sowder's offense with 13 points, he also grabbed 7 rebounds. ECHS also saw double figures from two other players, Dakota Woodcock with 11 points, and Hunter Buttram nailed four three-pointers, also scoring 13 points. Additional help was provided by Chase Turley (8 points, 11 rebounds, 1 steal), Trevor Norris (6 points, 1 rebound), Bailey Board (4 points, 6 rebounds, 1 steal), Iszic Blankenship (4 points, 3 rebounds), Daniel Caudill (3 points, 1 rebound) and Devin Elmore (2 points, 3 rebounds). The boys are back in action tonight as they they travel to Caverna for a 6pm match up against the Colonels.
