![]() The ECHS Wildcats Defeated The Butler County Bears for the second time this season last night in Brownsville. The Cats looked pretty good to start the game, with a 17-13 lead after the first quarter. ECHS kept control of the contest going into the locker room at halftime, leading 30-23. The third quarter looked much of the same, with the Bears giving the Cats a scare in the fourth but still fell short as ECHS snatched the one-point win, 62-61. The offense was led by Cole Bedwell with 16 points, going 5-7 from the field and 5-6 from the free throw line. Hunter Buttram added 13 points while Dakota Woodcock scored 12. Other contributors were Austin Sowders with 9 points, 5 rebounds and a blocked shot, Chase Turley helped out with 7 points and 7 boards, Devin Elmore scored 3 points and Daniel Caudill added 2.
The 2015 Homecoming Game is tonight vs. Metcalfe County at ECHS in a Boy/Girl Doubleheader. The boys are scheduled to play first at 6pm. Homecoming activities will be in between games. Darren Doyle, Kathy Meredith, Photos
