Four Wildcats Notch Double Figures In Win Darren Doyle, story: Madison Doyle, photos: Edmonson County fell behind early against Metcalfe County at ECHS on Tuesday night, much in part to the Hornets' hot shooting in the first, but rallied in the second quarter to take control of the game. Metcalfe hit their first six shots of the game, including three 3-pointers, but alternating defenses and changing of presses from the Wildcats forced several Hornet turnovers that Edmonson converted into points. They trailed 18-11 in the first but outscored Metcalfe 21-6 in the second to take a 32-24 lead at the half, capped off by Tucker Cole's three pointer at the buzzer. The Wildcats continued to add to the lead in the third and extended the gap to 48-31. Edmonson came out on top 66-48 for their 6th win of the season.
J.T. Vincent led the Cats in scoring with 14, Logan Lindsey and Tucker Cole (7 stls) each had 13, and Logan Minton had 10, which made the fourth Wildcat in double figures. Also scoring was Dalton Decker with 9, Ryan Lindsey and Brayden Carey each scored 2, and Chaz Wilson added 1.
