Athletic Director Kyle Pierce was well pleased with the three day event. He especially wanted to thank Scott Lindsey, Raffertys & Double Dogs restaurants for their tremendous help with the classic. "Anytime you put on an event with so many schools and teams, it takes a lot of help," Pierce said. "From our administrators, our girls and boys basketball coaches, our assistant football coaches, our announcers, our clock and scoreboard operator, our faculty that helped at the gate, and a few good friends, so many helped to make sure everything went smoothly." Pierce also said that preparations are already being made for the 2015 Classic. Other schools have been contacted and the event already has commitments. Pierce also encourages fans to continue supporting the Wildcats and Lady Cats. "Make sure to come out and watch our girls and boys for the rest of the year. We still have many home games remaining on the schedule, many of which are girl/boy doubleheaders." Darren Doyle Edmonson Voice Granville Meredith, Contributor Comments are closed.
