Edmonson Voice Staff Darren Doyle photos/video It was an emotional night for 9 senior football players, two cheerleaders, and 7 members of the marching band as they graced the field for their final home games last night. There was a good crowd at Wildcat Stadium for the festivities as the Hart County Raiders tried to spoil the night. The Wildcats got off to a great start by scoring a touchdown and the extra point just minutes into the game. With solid defense that turned into offense, the Wildcats had two interceptions, one for thirty yards from Senior Marcus Kinser, and another from Freshman Zach Farmer, which turned out to be an 80 yard return for a touchdown. Frustration began to set in for the Raiders after the Cats made it 25-0 with 6:00 left in the third, and penalty after penalty piled up for Hart County. Referees seemingly threw flag after flag, separated scuffles, and scolded several Raider players which eventually led to two of them being ejected. With 8:25 left in the game, the Hart County Athletic Director requested permission to end the game, resulting in a Wildcat win. Check out all the photo and video highlights below as well as Coach Pierce's thoughts on the game.
