![]() The Wildcats took the drive up Highway 259 to Leitchfield last night to seek revenge on county line rival Grayson County from a huge earlier loss in the season. Things were different this time around as the Cats were led by Austin "Cuban" Sowders with 24 points and 11 rebounds. Sowders, who as of last week was ranked 12th in the state in field goal percentage with 64.2%, shot 77% from the field, making 10 of 13 shots. Grayson County got off to a good start, leading the Cats 16-13 after the first quarter, but ECHS impressed by more than doubling their points in the second quarter, grabbing the 36-28 lead at halftime. The Cats were in charge from that point on, defeating the cougars 67-52 on the road. Hunter Buttram also added a solid performance with 16 points, (3-three pointers) 6 rebounds, and 3 assists, while Dakota Woodcock added 8 points and Chase Turley scored 6. Edmonson Voice Staff
