Youth Football Has Great Start To Season

Edmonson County youth football got a strong start to the 2015 season in Monroe County this past Saturday. The first and second grade tied Metcalfe County 7-7 and defeated Cumberland 14-0. The third and fourth grade team beat Clinton county 32-0, coming off a 49-0 win over Butler County last week. 

The fifth and sixth grade team went head-to-head against Clinton County in a defensive battle that ended in a safety for Edmonson as they sacked Clinton's quarterback in the end zone to win 2-0.  The youth football Wildcats travel to Hart County next Saturday. Edmonson Youth Football will host several teams on October 10 and October 31. Coach Bryan Thompson encourages everyone to make plans to come out and see the future Wildcats.
