Mrs. Nora Beth Carroll’s Turkey Recipes
Kindergarten, Kyrock Elementary

Nolan James
I would get a turkey at the Dollar Store.  First you cook it.  You put oil on it.  After you cook it you eat it.

Carson Vincent
You get a turkey from any kind of store.  You have to put oil on it.  And you put pepper, then you start cooking it in the oven—any temperature.  After it cooks you eat it.

Abigail Poteet
You get your turkey from the store and take it home.  Then you put it in the fridge.  Then you hold it and put pepper and salt on it.  You put it in the oven at a big temperature for 15 minutes.  Then it’s done and you eat it.

Blake Payne
You get a turkey at a restaurant.  Then you put brown stuff on it and then you flip it.  You cook it in a pan on the stove.  It has to cook for 10 seconds.  Then you eat it.
Kadynce Hardin
You get the turkey at Wal*Mart.  You bring it home and put it in the oven.  You have to put salt on it---my Daddy puts pepper on his mashed potatoes—he really does.  You cook it in the oven or you could cook it in the microwave.  You cook it, I guess, three minutes.  Then when it’s done cooking we eat it.

Go to the Dollar Store and get the turkey, and buy it.  Take it home and play with it then put it in the oven with salt and pepper and cook it for two days.  Then take it out of the oven—DON’T BURN YOUR FINGERS!  Put it on a plate—DON’T BURN YOURSELF!  Let it get warm, but don’t eat it because it can make your teeth nasty and make you sick.

Jaxson Duvall (Editor's Favorite Recipe)
Go to the store and put it in a bag, pay for it and put it in the car.  Then we go home.  Then we put it in the fryer and cook it for 2,080 minutes.  Then we eat it with my mom and dad, but not my sister. She can’t eat it because she knocked my chocolate milk over.

Garrison Meridith
Go hunting to kill a turkey.  You need the feathers on it to cook it.  Flip it over and cook it on the stove.

Hannah Hogan
Go to the store and buy the turkey and put it in the oven.  After two hours you take it out and you put some more ingredients on it and around it and then cook more food.  Then my Papaw tastes it.  Then we have to cook it a little bit longer because it’s not finished.  When it’s finished, we take it out and we eat it and it was good.

Ronnie Lindsey
First I hunt for the turkey, then you have to cut it up.  Then we salt it, and put it in the oven to cook for four hours.  Then you get it out, then more salt, then you eat it
